Vihiga County football representatives, Emusire Boys and Ebwali Secondary, kicked off their campaigns in style at this year’s Western Region KSSSA Games in Mumias.

Making their debut appearance at the regional level, Emusire Boys stunned hosts Butere High School with a hard-fought 1-0 victory, announcing their arrival on the big stage with confidence and composure.

Ebwali Secondary, a powerhouse with a history of regional and national success, held tournament favorites Musingu High to an intense 1-1 draw, showing their intent to reclaim the top honors once again.

Emusire aims to ride on their dream start to make a deep run in the competition, while Ebwali looks poised to build on their experience and legacy in the days ahead.
